Out for a Cruise

For Mother's Day, our 8 year old and I went for an up wind paddle (by up wind, I mean very strong, red flag, wind). We made it as far as my arms would handle and then we turned around and sailed home. It's such a wonderful, freeing feeling...to see where the wind is going to take me.

Since it was too windy to take pictures on Mother's Day and I now have my handy dandy waterproof phone case; I was able to take pictures on this last weekend's excursion. As you can see, the day was picture perfect. Although the wind was much lighter this day, we did have a wonderful time being out for a cruise.
